About the Artist
Reginald's subject matter and inspiration for his artwork originates from a variety of sources, predominantly commissioned paintings, renderings of local scenes as well as citizenry. Through artistic intuition and detail planning, creates very realistic landscapes, portraitures and still life utilizing a variety of media. However, Reginald prefers to work in watercolors because of its transparent qualities, luminous affects and mood altering capabilities.
Background of the Artist
Reginald resides in Williamsport, Pennsylvania with his wife Theresa, daughter Rachel and two sons Samuel and David. He has a BA degree in Art from Wilkes University and a Masters degree in Art Education from Mansfield University under the guidance of Professor Ernst Frombach and Professor Sam Dee Thomas. Reginald taught art in the public schools for ten years at Hughesville and Williamsport. He also taught computer graphics at Mansfield University and completed the principalship certification program at Penn State University. Currently, Reginald is a principal at the Williamsport Area High School in Williamsport, PA. He believes that his actual work of art will be created and revealed in the lives of his students whom he nurtures as works in progress. Reginald produces artwork in his home studio. He, along with his wife and children, operate their family business, Fatherlys' Fine Art, from their home.
